I am a medical doctor with over 12 years of clinical experience. I have medical and advanced postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine, Public Health, and Health Economics, including a PhD in Public Health. My clinical experience encompasses family and primary healthcare, outpatient medicine, travel and migration health, occupational health screening, tuberculosis and HIV services, pre-departure medical assessments, fitness-to-travel evaluations, and the coordination of care for patients with complex medical needs. I have extensive international health experience, including several years with the International Organization for Migration across Nigeria, Qatar, Germany and Algeria. In these roles, I contributed to the planning, delivery, supervision, and quality assurance of health services for migrants, refugees, returnees, and other vulnerable populations. My work has included disease surveillance, outbreak preparedness and response, emergency health operations, infection prevention and control, health promotion, medical referrals, clinical governance, and coordination with government authorities, United Nations agencies, healthcare institutions, and community partners. My professional approach is grounded in compassionate, ethical, culturally responsive, and patient-centred care. I am passionate about strengthening health systems, expanding equitable access to high-quality healthcare, and developing innovative solutions that connect clinical medicine, public health, research, technology, and sound health policy.
